Your boyfriend or husband just invited you to go with him for this seasons fishing trips and you are excited about spending time with him and soaking up the Nikon Monarch Binoculars binocular101 sun rays but wait there is more. Sport fishing has been known a man's sport for ages but there is no reason you can't play with the big boys and join the fun. Catching fish is actually a lot of fun and can be quite rewarding
Women's fishing gear is a bit more complex. You can't just grab your coat and shoes and walk out the door when going on a fishing vacation. Packing for fishing trips is not like packing for camping. Sport fishing Nikon Monarch Binoculars is a very long and boring sport in between short spurts of realitivly unintense action and to make it more enjoyable it requires... fishing trip accessories!
Packing For A Fishing Trip
Have you ever worn a garbage bag for a rain jacket? I have. I was 8 years old and in a state wide fishing tournament for kids. My mom didn't plan out packing for a fishing trip right and forgot my rain jacket and it was pouring for 2 of the 3 days of the tournament. I won the tournament. Yah! But really mom, a garbage bag?
Lesson learned, prepare for anything when packing for a fishing trip. It helps if you borrow fishing poles and tackle from a friend. Buying an entire set is nice if you plan to do it again, but if this is a random trip and you do not know when you will go again, borrow!
I recommend buying your own life vest. You must always wear one when on the water and it is nice to always have your own available.
As Nikon Monarch Binoculars a bare minimum you should bring the following
- Layers of clothing (it may be cold in the morning but the sun can really warm things up by lunchtime)
- Life Jacket
- Fishing Licence if required
- Medicated lip balm
- Snacks and Drinks
- Tennis Shoes, flats, or sandals (ditch the heels for this one)
- First aid kit
- Map of the body of water you will be fishing in if by boat
Some things that are nice to have
- Fishing Pole
- Store bought live worms or lures (dependant on what you are fishing for)
- Tackle box
- Fishing Line and hooks
- Fishing tool kit or just a good pair of needle nose pliers
- Pocket fish scale (so you know the excat numbers for your big fish story)
Remember that whether you are fishing on land or on a boat, you are not going to want to bring more than a bag or two.
Fishing can be a two hour gig done in the afternoon or an all day excursion starting in the wee hours around 5am and continuing till the sun goes back down. Find out how long your fishing trip is going to be before you begin packing for a fishing trip. You do not want to be out in the middle of a lake and then realize you need something that you didn't pack.
Also, some fisherman don't quite understand that fisherwomen need bathroom facilities. We are not able to just face outwards from the boat and do our thing. Take this from some one who has had to many times pee in a livewell because daddy wasn't ready to head back to shore. Let your companion know that you will need to make trips back in occasionally. Scope out where the nearest bathroom is and make note.
